Coursera (COUR) is today’s hot stock. Shares will open up by around 20% after the firm reported second-quarter results.
Coursera posted revenue growing by 10.8% Y/Y to 4170.3 million. It updated its FY 2024 revenue guidance to $695 million to $705 million. COUR stock will open at around $9.00, which is nowhere near its high of around $20 for the year.
Deckers Outdoor (DECK) will open up by 10.4% today. The firm posted revenue growing by 22.1% Y/Y to $825 million. On July 12, the firm announced a six-for-one stock split effective on September 16, 2024, after the market closes.
DECK stock has a good chance of resuming its uptrend.
In the morning trade, watch 3M (MMM). Ahead of the report, investors expected the firm to post an EPS of $1.68, down by over 22% Y/Y. Several analysts upgraded the stock before the report. For example, J.P. Morgan cited an attractive valuation, a cleaned-up balance sheet, and earnings momentum as reasons to buy the stock.
HSBC believes that 3M is at an inflection point to achieve growth and margin expansion, thanks to restructuring.
